Project Description
Thrive is a guided emotion journal paired with a podcast that is aimed at creating a widely accessible mental health tool. With this product, my main goal was to create an artifact with deep meaning and purpose that stemmed from my own past experiences, and the imagining of resources that would have made a difference in those moments.
As I dissected impactful events from my life as well as those of my peers, I noticed a pattern of young adults experiencing hardship and feeling either unable to financially access the necessary resources or scared to reach out and ask for help. My research on the causes of this led me to design a journal that would work toward addressing the need for affordable and easily accessible tools to process difficult experiences.
The Thrive journal includes illustrations and guided journaling prompts surrounding common emotional struggles, along with suggested activities and a supporting podcast. This multifaceted approach is designed to cater to multiple learning and expression styles so that anyone can benefit from this product.
