Project Description

New Wave is a “Van Life” conference seeking educate individuals about van life as a movement as well as its applicability to their lives. It brings together a community of like-minded individuals to share their passion and knowledge while inviting newcomers to learn about the topic.

For this project I built the brand from the ground up based on its core mission of empowering young people to explore the outdoors via an alternative living style. Brand development for New Wave consisted of logo and brand guide as well as the supporting website, advertisement poster, and app icon.

In designing the conference experience, I researched an array of professionals ranging from survivalists and van life influencers, to finance specialists and auto mechanics in order to create the conference sessions. Through these speakers and hands-on workshops, this conference serves as a one-stop entry point to experiencing van life.
