Working with WICKED problems; I designed an infographics poster focused on the impact of social media on body image and eating disorders. I researched statistics on social media usage and the prevalence of eating disorders and appearance comparison. Additionally, I did firsthand research by creating a survey related to these topics and gathering data from participants about their personal experiences with social media.

Through my research I found a strong correlation between higher social media usage and a more negative body image based upon comparing oneself to online images and trends.

Using this information, I designed charts, graphs and illustrations to visualize the data and developed a visual language based on the topic. Final deliverables were a two paneled poster and an infographic animated video.
