Role
During my internship I had the opportunity to design social media graphics, email campaigns, animated videos, and iconography. I designed the iconography now being used on Aquatabs Instagram for their story highlights, and created reels for their products.
For World Water Day, I illustrated graphics for Instagram stories and email campaigns that sought to bring new customers to the Aquatabs brand and to encourage sustainability on the Business Connect side. Additionally, I created stickers to cater to the US market which focus more on hikers and outdoorsmen, which I captured through national park-esk imagery.
My motion graphics work here consisted of storyboarding, illustrating, and animating a “what’s in my bag” style hiking essentials reel and an informational product demo of Aquatabs purification tablets.
Brand
Business Connect is an L3C company that works to expand clean water access globally. As an L3C company they are a low-profit, charity-focused organization. They specialize in water purification and local business.
By helping local communities build their own businesses with water purification products, Business Connect creates sustainable water access solutions that do not depend upon the company to survive.
Aquatabs is also under the Business Connect umbrella; they design and create water purification tablets and related items. As a leading brand for water purification, their tablets are used to treat over 40 billion gallons of water per year.
